Fight for Sight welcomes corporate donations of any amount.  Perhaps you have a donations budget, or maybe you want to make a lasting impact by donating your Christmas cards or corporate gift budget?

If your company donates £2,000 or more you will be eligible to take part in our Adopt a Project scheme, which enables your donation to be allocated to research project(s) in your region.  You will also receive invitations to attend visits to these projects where you will be able to meet the scientists whose work you are funding.

Donations in kind: products and services
Your company can also support Fight for Sight by donating products and prizes for our auctions and raffles, by donating stationery for the office or even training thereby saving the charity valuable money to spend even more on vital eye research.

Setting up a donation through your pay provides Fight for Sight with invaluable regular income enabling us to plan more effectively for long-term projects. It also means you can help support us without having to pay any tax on your donation. For example, a donation of £5 a month will only cost you £3.91.

Make Fight for Sight your corporate Charity of the Year and involve staff, customers and suppliers in raising funds.  Don’t forget, the charity funds research projects throughout the UK, so the money you raise can be allocated to projects in the localities of your staff and customers.

Whatever your company’s size and structure, we can work with you to ensure your staff meet their fundraising potential. The charity has numerous events and initiatives to participate in – from parachute jumps, swims, bike rides and overseas treks. See our events calendar for more information.

Organise your own activities such as corporate golf days which are a great way to entertain clients and raise money. The mens' section at Blacknest Golf Club in Hampshire nominated Fight for Sight as its Charity of the Year in 2007 and held various fundraising events on behalf of the charity. We were delighted to have received a cheque for £1,700 from all of their activities.

Recycle your old, unwanted mobile phones and raise funds for Fight for Sight. You'll also be helping the environment and helping developing countries.

Fonebak is a scheme owned and operated by Shields Environmental for the safe return and recycling of mobile phones and accessories. It is endorsed by all the UK network service providers, major retailers and the Government.

Community Fonebak's aims are to:

• Provide a fundraising opportunity for charities
• Minimise individuals' impact on the environment by providing a safe and responsible way to recycle unwanted mobile phones
• Meet the demand for providing low-cost communications in developing countries.

Once you have sent in your phone Community Fonebak then decides whether it can be resold or recycled. For every phone that can be resold in a developing country Fight for Sight receives £5.
