Fight for Sight Clinical Fellowships

Fight for Sight wishes to encourage clinicians to further their career in ophthalmic research. Fight for Sight Clinical Fellowship awards of up to £190,000 are open to medical, nursing and allied health professional graduates (including optometrists and orthoptists) and will lead to the presentation of a PhD over three years (or exceptionally a MD over two years).

A Fight for Sight Clinical Fellowship is a highly prestigious award made on a fully competitive and peer reviewed basis allowing a rigorous, fair and transparent selection process.

Fight for Sight is a member of the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) and complies with its guidelines for best practice.  Fight for Sight passed the AMRC’s 2011 Peer Review Audit.

Full application submission date: 27 January 2012
Interview date: 2 May 2012
Decision date: May 2012
