Fight for Sight PhD Studentships
As part of our commitment to encourage young people to take up and continue a career in research, Fight for Sight invites applications from PhD supervisors for PhD studentships of up to £100,000. These awards are designed to encourage new and highly motivated graduates into a career in ophthalmology and vision research.
A Fight for Sight sponsored PhD Studentship is a highly prestigious award made on a fully competitive and peer reviewed basis allowing a rigorous, fair and transparent selection process. In 2012 Fight for Sight awarded 6 PhD Studentships out of 21 full applications received.
Fight for Sight is a member of the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) and complies with its guidelines for best practice. Fight for Sight passed the AMRC’s 2011 Peer Review Audit.
