Celebrate your day and make a gift that could make a difference to many.

Supporters often ask family and friends to make a donation to Fight for Sight in lieu of presents for a special birthday or anniversary. So rather than receiving presents at your event, your occasion would help scientists find new ways of preventing and treating eye diseases.

A golden example: The Rushbrooks

Rosemary and Roger Rushbrook celebrated 50 years of marriage at a special lunch at Elm Farm Hotel in Norwich and an anniversary party at their local cricket club. As a patient of the Norfolk and Norwich eye clinic, Rosemary chose to support Fight for Sight after attending a World Sight Day information event hosted by the University of East Anglia.

Friends and family of the Rushbrooks helped to raise over £600 for eye research by making donations to Fight for Sight in lieu of Golden Anniversary gifts.
