Jasmine Harman's favourite view of London
Morden Hall Park, South West London

With a career that has taken her all over the world, Channel 4’s ‘A Place in the Sun’ presenter Jasmine Harman is no stranger to spectacular views. But when asked to choose her favourite view of London in support of Fight for Sight’s photo competition, Jasmine didn’t hesitate to name the peaceful view over the River Wandle at Morden Hall Park in South West London.

“I have spent so many wonderful times here in Morden Hall Park.  My husband and I brought our dog Shadow here on his first ever walk so it has special memories for us.

“I only discovered this wonderful park recently during a break from filming ‘A Place in the Sun Home or Away’.  Shadow loves playing in the river here and we love picnics, afternoon tea and scones in the cafe."

With a history of age-related macular degeneration in her family, Jasmine knows how vital it is to support research into ways of preventing sight loss in the future. By supporting My View of London, Jasmine is helping Fight for Sight to raise awareness of the important research they are funding.

Jasmine joins a host of celebrities supporting of the competition including Fight for Sight patron Joan Collins OBE, the BBC’s Jeremy Bowen, WBA Heavyweight champion David Haye and Coronation Street’s Tupele Dorgu.
