Fight for Sight announce their new charity partnership with RedEye
After a company-wide vote, RedEye employees have chosen to fundraise for Fight for Sight, the UK’s leading eye research charity. The work of the charity is close to the hearts of many RedEye employees and the two organisations are looking forward to raising money for sight saving research over the next 12 months.
As a company, RedEye will be endeavouring to find innovative and fun ways to fundraise for the charity, in the hope of raising a sum of money that can support more research and help Fight for Sight increase their impact.
Fight for Sight are the UK's largest charity funding pioneering eye research. Their aim is to create a future everyone can see. Macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, childhood blindness, rare eye diseases – Fight for Sight fund research into common and rare eye conditions and diseases. They support researchers based at leading universities and hospitals across the UK.
Today two million people in the UK are living with sight loss, including an estimated 25,000 children who are blind or partially sighted. 86% of people in the UK value their sight above any other sense, highlighting the importance of this charity and the work it does to help prevent sight loss.
