Thanks to everyone for supporting the #BlinkWinkThink campaign in association with 100% Optical.

The trade show took place 6-8 February at the Excel and attracted visitors from as far as Australia and South East Asia.

The charity was the chosen charity for the second consecutive year.

Fight for Sight had a range of activities at their stand including; encouraging visitors and exhibitors to take part in #BlinkWinkThink, which involved capturing a one-eyed selfie and donating to support vital eye research.

Members of the Fight for Sight Speaker Network from UCL, Cardiff University, Kingston University and University of East Anglia shared their research at the educational seminars. Visitors had the opportunity to book 'Blind-Dates' with the experts to help support the fight against sight loss.

Members of the Speaker Network also took part in the #LoveToSee activity on the stand - watch Professor Harminder Dua, from the University of Nottingham, talk about what he would love to see happen in eye research developments.

Back by popular demand, Rock-a-oke, allowed both exhibitors and visitors to bring out their inner-rock-star on the Sunday evening as they paid to sing alongside a live band.

Catherine Woodhead, Director of Fundraising at Fight for Sight said: "We are grateful to 100% Optical for giving us this opportunity to raise the importance of eye research, from members of the Fight for Sight Speaker Network discussing a wider range of funded projects, encouraging the public to take a #BlinkWinkThink selfie, to the Fight for Sight Rock-a-oke, it has been another successful year raising funds for a future everyone can see.

"Thank you to everyone who has supported the fight against sight loss, we're looking forward to working in partnership with 100% Optical for the 2017 show."
