Distance: Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
Run past Cambridge's most famous landmarks, college courtyards and stunning countryside along this scenic route. You'll be carried by the amazing support of the city - with musicians, cheer zones and spectators lining the course. The flat course is perfect for first-timers and PB chasers alike.
General entries have sold out, so the only way to run this popular event is through a charity place.
By taking on this challenge you will be helping us to save sight and change lives. Go behind the scenes at a Cardiff Lab to discover how we're helping scientists discover new treatments that could one day stop sight loss.

I have a vision impairment, can I take part?
Yes. We are proud to work with the Richard Whitehead Foundation who provide trained Support/Guide Runners that are hand-picked to match your needs. Your Support Runner will receive a free entry into your chosen event.
If you'd like a Support Runner (or you already have a Support Runner but require a free entry for them) then please get in touch with us events@fightforsight.org.uk. You can also register your interest with the Richard Whitehead Foundation to find out more. -
Can you help with fundraising suggestions?
We will provide you with handy tips and resources to help you reach your target. You can also get inspiration from our Fundraising Ideas. We have a Fundraising Pack with handy information including how to create a memorable event, tips for success and a checklist to keep on hand!

What donations don't qualify for Gift Aid?
Donations made from a company, on behalf of someone else or a group of people
Donations to a family member or friend participating in an event where the charity is contributing to their costs

Money raised from a sale of goods e.g. cake sale, car wash or sale of raffle tickets

When will I receive my Fight for Sight top?
You will receive your branded top in the post no later than 2 weeks prior to the event date. If you’d like your top sooner then let us know - events@fightforsight.org.uk
