Sophie Cantwell-Kelly

Philanthropy Assistant

Sophie studied Geography and Political Science at university, where she became passionate about empowering and advocating for under-represented voices. Starting off her career in communications and social media management, she gained valuable skills working with a variety of organisations across the UK and Ireland.

Now, Sophie supports fundraising activities across our Philanthropy teams at Fight for Sight. She enjoys working on lots of different projects and meeting supporters in our charity shops and at events. Knowing our work facilitates real, tangible, and meaningful impact is what motivates Sophie.

Outside of work, Sophie loves hosting friends for long chatty dinners and heading home to Ireland to hear the scéalta (news/stories in Irish) and going sea swimming in all weathers.
