About the event
Date: Saturday 31st October 2026
Location: The Oval Cricket Ground, London
Distance: 10km or 25km
Take part in a hair-raising hike around some of the City’s scary streets and historic haunts! Choose your distance, gather your bravest guys & ghouls to make up a team – or go it alone and meet up with other chilling challengers.
You’ll get full support all the way, as well as food & drink and a special macabre medal.
By taking on this challenge you will be helping us to save sight and change lives.
Costs and fundraising options
Charity Sponsorship – pay a small registration fee and achieve the required fundraising amount* (we will pay for your place)
Mixed Funding – pay for half of your event place and fundraise less* (we will pay half of your place cost)
Own Place Charity Fundraising – pay for your own place and fundraise whatever you can for Fight for Sight (we pay a small admin fee)
*50% of the minimum sponsorship must be with the charity 4 weeks prior to the event. Failure to meet the fundraising deadline may result in cancellation of your place by your charity. The remaining 50% must be with the charity by 4 weeks after the event.

A Fight for Sight t-shirt to wear with pride in training and at the event
A fundraising pack with tips and ideas to help you reach your target

When will I receive my Fight for Sight top?
You will receive your branded top in the post no later than 2 weeks prior to the event date. If you’d like your top sooner then let us know - events@fightforsight.org.uk
