About the event
Date: Saturday 5 to Sunday 6 June 2027
Location: Kendal, Cumbria
Activity: Walk, jog or run
Distance: 10 mile, 25km, 50km or 100km
Take on England’s most iconic National Park and walk, jog or run distances from 10km to 100km on spectacular Lake District trails.
Set out from basecamp in Kendal, over the Garburn Pass to the charming town of Ambleside. Relax and refresh at your 50km point on the shores of Lake Windermere, before full 100km Challengers set out towards Newby Bridge and Cartmel, then head back to the finish line in Kendal.
Sign up as an individual or as a team. You’ll get full support all the way, food & drink, a special medal, t-shirt and celebration finish.
By taking on this challenge you will be helping us to save sight and change lives. Go behind the scenes at a Cardiff Lab to discover how we're helping scientists discover new treatments that could one day stop sight loss.
