If you’re looking to complete your first swim in open water or you’re already an avid swimmer, then this is the challenge for you!
Swim two miles in this popular open-water swimming festival held in the stunning Serpentine Lake in Hyde Park. All your needs are catered for with heated changing rooms, dunk zone, pontoon start and finish, full water safety crew, hot tubs and an exhibition area.
By taking on this challenge you will be helping us to save sight and change lives.

Fundraising Target: £400
Our charity places have been allocated. However you can register your interest and be added to the waiting list. You will be notified if a space becomes available.
When you swim with us, you'll receive:
- A Fight for Sight t-shirt
- A fundraising pack with tips and ideas to help you reach your target
- Regular contact and support from our friendly team
- Assistance with finding guide swimmers if required

How old do I need to be?
You must be 16 years and above on Event Day to swim the two mile distance.

What donations don't qualify for Gift Aid?
Donations made from a company, on behalf of someone else or a group of people
Donations to a family member or friend participating in an event where the charity is contributing to their costs
Money raised from collections
Money raised from a sale of goods e.g. cake sale, car wash or sale of raffle tickets

When will I receive my Fight for Sight top?
You will receive your branded top in the post no later than 2 weeks prior to the event date. If you’d like your top sooner then let us know - events@fightforsight.org.uk
