Community Space

Our Ealing Broadway shop is home to a gorgeous, cozy community space that's available for bookings. Host anything from meetings to coffee mornings to crafting events.

There is no fee to book, however in exchange we would love if yourself and your attendees would bring donations into our shop and advertise the availability of our space on social media channels.

If you'd like to find out more, or host an event in our space, please get in touch at ealing@fightforsight.org.uk

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Who can volunteer at your shops?

Everyone! We’d love you to volunteer with us. Whether you’re looking for work experience (we accept volunteers over the age of 14, especially those working towards their DoE) or you’re looking for a social activity that makes the most of your skills post-retirement, visit out volunteering page to find out more.

  • What clothing do you accept?

Good quality clothing helps us raise more money that will Save Sight. Change Lives. We don’t sell children’s clothing in our shops but we can accept it to pass it on and stop it going into landfill. You are also very welcome to donate seasonal clothing, which we’ll keep to sell it at the relevant time of year.

  • What donations do you not accept?

We try and make donating as easy as possible but there are some items we are unable to accept. Please see this web page for a full list.

Items on this list actually cost us money to dispose of, so we really appreciate you taking a look at this list before coming in.

  • Can I donate furniture?

We love small and mid-sized homeware items (e.g. picture frames, glasses, curtains, side tables). If you have a large item, such as a sofa or dining table, why not consider contacting our house clearance service, which can pick up larger items for you? Visit this page for more information on house clearances.

  • How can I support your shops?

There are many ways to support us - you could donate items, volunteer at our shops, shop on our eBay, Depop or Vestiaire . We’d also love for you to review us on Google, which can help more people discover us.

  • How do my donations help?

79p out of every £1 goes directly towards funding research that will save sight, and social projects that will change lives. So far, more than 36 million tonnes of landfill have been saved, thanks to your donations.

  • What can I donate?

We’re grateful for your clothing, accessories, collectables, bric a brac, books, homewares, electrical items. We PAT test all electronics in-house to ensure they’re safe and ready to be snapped up by our customers.

  • Where can I park?

Ealing Broadway has lots of paid parking spots on the road, there is also parking available behind Morrisons supermarket and Springbridge Road Multi-Storey Car Park.

If you find a spot and would like someone from the shop to pop out to take your donations from the car, do give the shop a call directly on 0207 620 4961 and we'll help if we can.
