Fight for Sight is delighted to welcome Clarke Reynolds as its latest ambassador. Long term supporter of the charity, Clarke is a visual artist, using Braille as his artistic language.
Clarke is registered severely sighted but also a visual artist. He aims to bring Braille into the 21st century through workshops, exhibitions and public art, and to be a role model for people of all ages with visually impairment.
Clarke accepted the invitation to become the charity's latest ambassador without a moment of hesitation: "Fight for Sight has been there at the very start of my career, in fact if it wasn’t for them I don’t believe I would be getting the exposure I am today."
In May 2022 Clarke created a series of centrepiece artworks for our See My Skills gala. One of the guests at the gala was a gallery owner, and as Clarke says: "The rest is history."
"The connection and friendship built up over the years has been a special one. Supporting my exhibitions and the crazy stuff I get up to as an artist. And now it’s official I’m going to be an ambassador, which will cement the relationship further as I break down the stigma attached to sight loss in the visual arts.
I don’t think words can really show how special this is for someone like me. Here’s to smashing down those walls."

"With each dot I’m changing how we perceive a person with visual impairment in the visual creative industry."
