The flat and scenic route starts in the city centre, passing iconic landmarks like Edinburgh Castle and the Scottish Parliament building, before heading along the East Lothian coastline.
This ever-growing festival of running is a major event in the Scottish sporting calendar, attracting around 30,000 runners, with thousands more lining the course to support.
By taking on this challenge you will be helping us to save sight and change lives.
