Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge
Walk, jog, or run the Spectacular World Heritage coastline at your pace.
About the event
Date: Saturday 16th to Sunday 17th May 2026
Location: Jurassic Coast, Dorset
Distance: 25km, 50km, 75km or 100km
A start in Corfe Castle, the route heads down to Swanage, along through Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door, with ups & downs to Weymouth halfway. For full 100km challengers, it’s past Portland Bill, Chesil Beach, and on to West Bay – before a finish in the vibrant town of Bridport.
Take part as an individual or as a team. You’ll get full support all the way, plenty of food & drink, optional camping & transfers, a special medal, t-shirt & celebration finish, and a great sense of achievement!
By taking on this challenge you will be helping us to save sight and change lives.
Costs and fundraising options
- Charity Sponsorship – pay a small registration fee and achieve the required fundraising amount* (we will pay for your place)
- Mixed Funding – pay for half of your event place and fundraise less* (we will pay half of your place cost)
- Own Place Charity Fundraising – pay for your own place and fundraise whatever you can for Fight for Sight (we pay a small admin fee)
*50% of the minimum sponsorship must be with the charity 4 weeks prior to the event. Failure to meet the fundraising deadline may result in cancellation of your place by your charity. The remaining 50% must be with the charity by 4 weeks after the event.
When you take part with us, you'll receive:
- A Fight for Sight t-shirt or running vest to wear with pride in training and at the event
- A fundraising pack with tips and ideas to help you reach your target
- Regular contact and support from our friendly team

The Ultra Challenge Series has over 20 amazing events across the UK where you can walk, jog or run your chosen distance. Whether you’re looking for a stunning coastline, or a trail through wonderful countryside, you can find an event to suit you.

When will I receive my Fight for Sight top?
