Charity News

High street shops boosted our progress to: Save Sight. Change Lives.

In 2025, charity shoppers, donors, volunteers, retail partners, community initiatives and influencers helped us deliver a truly incredible year.

All your contributions help us to Save Sight. Change Lives.

Together, we have raised vital funds for  sight-saving research and social change projects, while promoting more sustainable ways to shop through resale and reuse. Through our shops and online platforms, preloved fashion, accessories and homewares reached new audiences across London.

Let’s take a moment to look back at everything we achieved this year, with heartfelt thanks to every individual and organisation who helped make it happen.

Our Retail Partnerships and Community Initiatives have been epic!

This year, we were thrilled to work alongside an inspiring mix of big brands, independent businesses and locally led community initiatives.

Together, these partnerships helped fill our shelves and rails, attract new audiences, and support our mission to Save Sight. Change Lives. They also helped keep quality stock in circulation and out of landfill through donations of end of line and surplus stock, as well as prizes for our Christmas raffle.

From generous retail donations to locally led initiatives and events, every collaboration helped make our shops vibrant, welcoming spaces that connect people to sustainable shopping and sight saving impact.

Every item donated helped us raise funds for vital research and made sustainable shopping more accessible to our communities.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of our retail friends and community partners who supported us throughout the year.

Fans of Fight for Sight — Our Community in Action

We’ve had incredible support from individuals and content-creators this year, all of whom have championed sustainable shopping that puts change in sight for people living with vision loss. We’ve loved collaborating with so many people including:

@secondhandqueen — inspiring thrift lovers to explore charity shops and unique finds.

@thethriftedthreds — celebrating preloved fashion and sharing our shop highlights.

Sarah Sole from Sourced Studio — sustainable stylist who has helped curate looks from our rails.

Ealing Trailfinders Women — Ealing’s local rugby club who supported the Ealing Fashion Drop and brought community energy as well as style to our shop events.

Fashion students from Graveney Secondary School - who sourced fabric for school projects and costumes and helped with styling a treasure-hunting on our shops in return!

Your voices, energy and creativity helped introduce our shops to new audiences, boost footfall and make sustainable shopping fun and stylish to boot!

Ealing Fashion Drop — A Sustainable Pop-Up Phenomenon

One of the standout moments of the year was our Ealing Fashion Drop, where we transformed our Ealing Broadway shop into a month-long pop-up of new-with-tags fashion.

Thanks to an incredible donation from a leading online fashion retailer (featured on our Instagram feed) we were able to offer thousands of pieces at charity shop prices. In doing so, we saved around eight tonnes of perfect condition clothing from landfill, while raising funds to support eye research and community projects.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone who came down to shop, share and support the mission.

Our Volunteers — The Heart of Retail

Across 14 high-street shops across London and three online shops, volunteers have been fundamental to our success. Whether greeting customers, sorting donations, styling windows or running tills, your ongoing commitment makes each shop a welcoming place to discover treasures — while supporting vital research funding.
