Community Ambassadors

We are looking for volunteers to join our team of Community Ambassadors. Our Community Ambassadors are a network of volunteers across the UK, representing Fight for Sight and raising awareness of the importance of eye research funding. Eye disease has a profound impact on everyday life with a staggering 250 people in the UK starting to lose their sight every day. 

Community Ambassadors help improve understanding of eye conditions, raise the profile of Fight for Sight and encourage fundraising and campaigning activities in their local areas. Our Community Ambassadors also give a range of talks to community groups in their area throughout the year. During these talks they share the importance of eye research and the personal impact of sight loss, inspiring others to support Fight for Sight’s important work.
