Fight for Sight, the UK’s leading eye research charity, is teaming up with Dans le Noir? to offer you a dining experience you won’t forget.

From tomorrow [1 March 2018] Dans le Noir? the restaurant specialising in providing a sensory dining experience, will donate £1 to Fight for Sight for every diner. This is your chance to challenge your perceptions of taste and smell by dining in pitch darkness!

Hosted and served by visually impaired waiting staff, your perspective of the world will be changed as you dine. Dans le Noir? dining is a sensory experience with dinner and drinks in darkness. On arrival, you will be welcomed and staff will take your order. You can enjoy a drink before meeting your waiter and being guided into the dining room.

Guests are seated at shared tables to encourage everyone to engage in conversation with people they haven’t met before, while gaining knowledge of blindness and disability. Although you will be in the dark during the meal, the restaurant has been organised to provide security and safety.

Dans le Noir? is proud to support Fight for Sight and raise awareness of visual impairment and disability. Running since 2006, this London restaurant works with individuals impacted by a disability, with around half their staff and servers affected by a visual impairment.
