Fight for Sight response to a landmark ruling in favour of the use of Avastin for wet AMD

Dr Neil Ebenezer, Director of Research, Policy and Innovation of Fight for Sight, the eye research charity, comments: “Fight for Sight note today’s judicial review ruling in favour of 12 CCGs prescribing Avastin off label for wet AMD. We reiterate the call of others that financial savings made by prescribing Avastin off-label for the treatment of wet AMD, must be reinvested into eye health services.”
