Researchers at Great Ormond Street are studying ‘cerebral visual impairment’.
A team of researchers at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the UCL Institute of Child Heath in London is studying vision in children and young people with ‘cerebral visual impairment’. This means people who have trouble with vision that can’t be explained by problems with the eye.
Participants will have their vision tested during one visit to Great Ormond Street. The tests involve playing specially designed ‘games’ and include letter charts, describing pictures and doing computer-based tasks. The study is open to eligible people aged 5-15.
