Join the United Kingdom Eye Survey as a lay member of the Board

Would you like to get involved in shaping an important new eye research project? You don’t need to be an expert to take part, but you will need some time and be willing to share your opinion.

VISION 2020 UK is the umbrella organisation for the eye health and sight loss sectors. They are looking for a few lay members to join the Prevalence Study Project Board.

The Board will plan and oversee a new research project, called the United Kingdom Eye Survey. This is a large study to find out about the eye health of people living in the UK. Fight for Sight is taking part as one of the organisations on the Board.

More information

To find out more, you can read the information sheet (opens a Word document) or see the VISION 2020 UK website. The information sheet explains:

If you have read the information sheet and would like to apply to join the Board, please contact and include ‘Lay Member Prevalence Study Board’ in the subject line. Please state why you would like to join the Board and what experience and skills you can offer.
