Fight for Sight is delighted that para-dressage rider, Verity Smith, supports the charity’s #BlinkWinkThink campaign.

The partially-sighted dressage rider started losing her vision due to a rare genetic condition aged eight and was registered blind at 16. Verity only has 10 per cent of her sight remaining and uses this to help with spatial awareness and balance whilst performing.

Verity has previously represented her country as part of Para Team GB and is hoping to continue her dream to win a gold medal by competing at the Paralympics in Rio this year.

The #BlinkWinkThink campaign, in association with 100% Optical, highlights the importance of eye research.

All you need to do is capture a one-eyed selfie, nominate friends, family and colleagues to help spread the importance of eye research and donate by texting BWTC16 £3 to 70070.
